Frontier Airlines touched down in Fargo, North Dakota on May 12, 2008, launching new high-quality, low-cost air travel in the state. Fargo is the fifth of seven new regional markets Frontier announced in February, all of which are shorter-haul markets, better suited to leveraging the economics of the 74-seat Bombardier Q400. A fleet of ten Q400 aircraft are operated for Frontier by Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc. subsidiary Lynx Aviation. Fargo was one of Frontierīs founding markets when service launched in 1994. Just as the Fargo community has grown over the last 14 years, so has this airline. Now the people of Fargo can connect to more than 60 Frontier destinations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica from Denver hub.

The NASDAQ Stock Market announced that it will delist the common stock of Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc. Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc.īs stock was suspended on April 22, 2008 and has not traded on NASDAQ since that time. NASDAQ will file a Form 25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to complete the delisting. The delisting becomes effective ten days after the Form 25 is filed.

Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc. announced preliminary traffic results for April 2008. The company reported mainline revenue passenger miles increased 7.7% to 849,506,000 for April 2008 from the same period last year. Mainline available seat miles increased 2.1% to 1,042,659,000 for April 2008 from the same period last year. This resulted in a mainline load factor for April 2008 of 81.5%, an increase of 4.3 points from April 2007, when the airline reported a mainline load factor of 77.2%. The airline carried 878,837 mainline passengers during April 2008, a 6.5% increase from April 2008. The airline reported mainline passenger yield of 9.59 cents for the month of April 2008, a decrease of 6.3% from the same period last April 2007. Its mainline passenger revenue per available seat mile was 7.81 cents, down 0.10 or 1.3% from April 2007.
